I need a companion care provider with Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my mother who is 79. Through mid January I have an Aunt who is also staying here. She is my mothers older sister age 84 and she is not cognitively impaired and is physically fairly healthy but cannot drive here because she doesn't have a car. Assistance with medication is needed. Some light tidying up is involved. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Stimulation is a big concern. There's a senior center fairly close by and I'd like my mother to go regularly. There's also a gym that she has a silver sneakers membership in. This role may change in the new year, but we can explain more details in the interview Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets.
