About who needs care: My mother has rheumatoid arthritis, thyroid disease, lots of slipped discs in her back, and diabetes. She loves coloring and hanging out with her dog while they watch reality television. She needs help with running errands such as getting her medication and going to the doctor. About the care needs: Someone who she could talk about faith with would be a great fit. I think a woman would be best for her as well. My mother is also a bit overweight, so the person would need to be pretty strong in order to help her. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
