Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Fort Myers

About the job

Seeking care for my father in his 60s. Services needed: companionship, meal preparation, help staying physically active, transportation, light housekeeping, errands / shopping. No prior experience required. Specialized care needs: CPR/first aid training, nursing experience. A little more about my father: he can be energetic, pleasant, reserved, independent. He's a great funny guy when his health allows him to be. He can be a bit hard to deal with at times because he's used to being independent. But I think he just needs company to keep him busy and inappropriate good mood. I'm looking for someone who is patient, firm, strong, bilingual. I need someone that can care for him and not show frustration. My dad speaks mostly Spanish. He does understand English but doesn't speak it well enough. If he had someone that can help with things like the language barrier that would be great. My dad enjoys to go for walks around the complex when he has the energy. He also loves to go fishing. He's a retired mechanic and every now and then get restless and nostalgic about the times when he was active. He loves to play dominos and listen to music. On occasion he likes to go out to eat at his favorite buffet.
