My mother is 60 and was injured in a car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. She is fully conscious and aware, and has an outgoing/positive personality. She is mobile and able to walk with a walker, but needs someone to spot her and provide balance support if needed. She has a wheelchair for long distances. Due to her injury, she needs someone to be with her Mon-Fri when my dad is at work (brain injuries can impair cognitive function - decision-making, judgement, impulse control). She hasn't exhibited any concerning behavior, but it's medically recommended for her to be monitored given the nature of her injury. I'm looking for someone who is patient and chatty. My mom is super friendly and loves to be with people. She loves to be out and about and doesn't like sitting at home.
