My mother has Multiple Sclerosis and needs assistance in all areas of ADLs. She can assist in standing during the early part of the day but as the day progresses she is tired and weak and will need more assistance. Caregiver must be experienced in proper body mechanics for lifting and assisting on and off toilet and in and out of bed. We do have a hoyer lift but my mother is not a fan of it. Schedule varies as there are two other caregivers and shifts are daily from 8:00am-3:00 p.m. and 3:00pm-9:30 p.m. Caregiver must have valid CA DL with no outstanding infractions. Responsibilities include feeding, bathing, dressing, assist with toileting and following medication regiment. Light housework, preparing meals and driving a wheelchair van are also expectations.
