About the job
We are looking for a live-in housekeeper to care for us and our small dog. The work day is split: Up around 7 a.m. to feed the dog and prepare breakfast. Clean and do laundry until about noon; then time off to rest, have lunch with a friend, shop, or enjoy the beach. Work starts again at 2 p.m. Clean up the lunch that we have prepared ourselves. Continue laundry and cleaning. Prepare and serve a snack at 5 p.m. and feed dog. Free time until around 9:30pm, then take the dog out and put the dog to bed. Must speak, read, and write English and have a valid driver's license and drive us to our vacation home in North Carolina 2 or 3 times a year. Must be willing to stay with dog when we travel 2 or 3 times a year. Can live in 5 or 7 days a week, working 5 days. 3 BR, 5 BA home, 2501 - 3000 sq ft Chicago, IL
