We are a special family of adopted children where sadly the adoptive mom passed away unexpectedly at a young age. Dad has logistical issues being pulled in so many directions at once to keep the family moving. After school is a "crunch time" of making sure children are caught up on homework keeping up with small details of managing the family and meal prep. One of the two boys to care for is a bit more challenging than the other-he has ADHD and prenatal drug exposure and is strong-willed. On the positive side he can focus is energy on meaningful tasks and is very creative. The other boy is highly intelligent polite and personable. Our ideal caregiver: Trained in child development-help my two first grade boys (next year) with school work and meaningful activity after school. Additional needs include light housekeeping, a non-smoker, having a reliable car. We could use help with structuring activities and homework or curriculum assistance.
