Hi! We have a 4-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son. They are both active and pretty certain that they are hilarious. We've been fortunate and have had several long term nannies - our last has been with us for almost 2 years. Over that time we've learned a few things about the nanny/employer relationship: (1) Shared expectations are important- that's why we draft a contract together and set regular check-ins for 2-way feedback, (2) Candid communication is what makes it work in the long run, (3) A sense of humor is a must and (4) The intangible quality of having a heart for children is invaluable. Our prayer is that you and our kids truly love spending time together and that you enjoy being part of the daily routine of our home. We are hoping to find the right person by August to ensure the school year gets off to a great start.
