A. is well-mannered 20-month-old who was previously watched by a nanny. She is just starting to test boundaries, but overall is an easy going child that will do almost anything that seems fun to her. She can count to 10 and knows many words/phrases. She LOVES animals, water, and fish. Our typical schedule would be you get here as she is eating breakfast (~8am), and take her outside or play until lunchtime. Then feed her and try putting her down for a nap between 12-2 (she usually naps for 2-3 hours). Once she down we can take over;). Our ideal caregiver: Looking for someone who loves kids, is reliable, and most of all trained in childhood development (degree and/or multiple years experience). They should be fine with spending hours outside with my daughter at a time in the weather (she loves the rain!), while handling her warm clothes/meals/potty training. Someone who can engage with her in interactive play. To start you will mostly be with her in the neighborhood around our property (we have 5 acres with other small children around), which can progress to local hikes or adventures. In mid -January we will be getting an Au pair to handle time during the week, but we still will need someone on call locally for emergencies.. Additional needs include having a reliable car, being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker. Looking for a caregiver for my 2-year-old daughter. Flexible start date.
