Our 2-year-old has been fortunate enough to have been watched by family members since he was born. However, with a new baby due in May, we're having to reevaluate our child care situation. Ideally I would love to have a nanny home with the baby once I start back to work 2, potentially 3 days a week. I would like to enroll the 2-year-old in a part time preschool program on those days as well. The logistics of transport to and from the preschool would be what we would need to work out. Ideally, our nanny would be with the infant all day and then with 2 year from the end of preschool until I got home. I am a nurse who works 6-6. Our 2-year-old is very loving and sensitive! He loves his cars and exploring outside. He is a snuggle bug and has been always been pretty even- tempered. Our ideal caregiver: My ideal caregiver would be loving and patient, but also very knowledgeable in safe infant sleeping practices and children's first aid. As I would potentially require transportation, they would also need to be willing to practice optimal car seat safety. Additional needs include pick up / drop off, having a reliable car and being comfortable with pets. Looking for a caregiver for my infant son and 2-year-old son. Looking for care Wednesdays (6-7pm) and Fridays (6-12am).
