Seeking a nanny near Fort Worth for 1 child. Hoping you can start soon! Errands / groceries: If we are out of diapers or essentials and didn't know, please pick some up and we are happy to reimburse you. Comfortable With Pets: We have a small rescue dog (part king Charles/part cocker) who was saved where he lived in a rabbit cage for three years. He is scared of strangers but warms up to people after a few weeks of seeing them consistently (it helps when strangers give treats freely which we will provide all the time). He won't bite, but he may bark and shy away. We would introduce him slowly and I am happy to kennel him until everyone is comfortable. We also have a Pomeranian who loves everyone and makes up for his brother's oddness and PTSD. Light Housekeeping: Allow the dogs to go outside when they are at the door. If things are very messy it would be helpful if they are cleaned up. Otherwise, no serious cleaning. Primary care is the child's wellness. Pick-up or Drop-off: Cannot foresee where the baby would need to go, but it is possible the child would need to go with you if you have to run to the store. Has Own Car: Car. Schedule Details: I am still unsure on the start date, but I wanted to open up and check this out well in advance. It will probably be a year from now. About the child(ren): This is my first child and she will be born in late September. My mother has generously offered to help from September until around March or April. The child will be about 6-8 months old when we need a nanny who can come and stay all day. I work close to home so I hope to come home and nurse during lunch allowing the nanny to have lunch with friends or run errands of her own. Our family is blended. I have a 10-year-old step son who lives with his mother in Dallas. We see him every other weekend and on Thursday nights. My husband works in Dallas and leaves very early in the mornings. He is usually home between 5:00 and 5:30 every day. I usually leave to go to work at 8 and come home during lunch to let the dogs out (and will continue this practice to see my baby and relieve you for 45 minutes- an hour for lunch) and will come home between 5:15 and 5:45 daily.
