Location Upper East Side NYC live out during school year and Hamptons live in during summer Schedule Monday to Friday 230 p.m. to 9 p.m. with flexibility to stay later and ability to work occasional weekends if needed Start Date ASAP Compensation 90000 per year We are seeking an energetic engaging and flexible nanny to join a high energy household on the Upper East Side. This long term role involves caring for three children ages 12 10 and 7 and supporting their busy schedules alongside an established household staff. The family spends the entire summer in the Hamptons where this position will be live in and also travels to Aspen for Christmas and spring break. During the school year the position will be live out in NYC. The ideal candidate will be active creative and excited to get on the floor and play whether it is kicking a soccer ball making bracelets or organizing kid friendly activities. While the family employs other full time nannies housekeepers a chef and a driver this role will focus on hands on engagement with the children and light child related housekeeping such as tidying play areas organizing belongings and doing childrens laundry. This person must also be able to do homework and study with the kids. Key Responsibilities Provide attentive engaging care for three children ages 12 10 and 7 Plan and participate in active play creative projects and outdoor activities Collaborate with other household staff this is never a sole charge role Assist with light child related housekeeping such as tidying laundry and organizing Maintain a collaborative positive approach in a large staff household Key Qualifications Energetic athletic and able to keep up with an active family lifestyle College educated Flexible schedule with weekend availability can be structured as full time or part time Comfortable working as part of a team in a staffed home Driving and swimming skills are a plus but not required Willingness to live in during the summer in the Hamptons Seeking a long term role Ability to study and do homework with the kids Additional Details No cooking or pet care required No travel beyond Hamptons and Aspen The family values candidates who are positive proactive and great with older kids
