We're seeking a patient, enthusiastic companion for our incredible daughter who has a PDA (Pervasive Drive for Autonomy) profile on the autism spectrum. She's currently unschooling at home, and we need someone who can roll with the flow, share in her adventures, and genuinely enjoy spending time together baking, gaming, & nail painting! We use a low-demand, trauma-informed approach. Our daughter needs to feel on equal ground with others regardless of agethis is what her nervous system needs to feel safe. You'll let her take the lead, keep things calm (no pressure/unnecessary demands), tune into sensory/emotional needs, and approach interactions as equals. Think "cool o Ideal candidates would be students or professionals in: OT, ST, PT, Special Ed, Social Work, or knowledge of autism, PDA profiles, or supporting kids with dysregulation.
