Proud parents of a bright, active 3-year-old boy and excitedly preparing for the arrival of their second baby-a boy due in the coming months. Without extended family nearby, they are hoping to build a trusted relationship with a nurturing nanny who can offer care as they adjust to life with two kids. Position Overview Location: Kaneohe Start Date: mid-September Schedule: one day per week, 8am-4pm, with the potential to expand to two days per week based on the family's needs Responsibilities Feeding support (bottle prep and feeding) Diapering and maintaining a clean changing area Gentle play and developmentally appropriate stimulation Managing nap routines Keeping baby's space tidy Occasional baby laundry or sanitizing bottles No household or sibling responsibilities are expected, as the older child is in school and mom is typically home during care hours. Ideal Candidate Calm, confident, discreet, and nurturing Able to work independently and without micromanagement Reliable, respectful, and adaptable Vaccinated preferred (Tdap) but not required, willingness to mask in early months is appreciated while feeding Experienced in newborn care and supporting healthy development Patient and flexible with evolving routines Proactive and organized with excellent communication Qualifications 3+ years of professional childcare experience Experience with infant care Currently residing on O'ahu Background check, driver's record check CPR and First Aid certified Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $25/hour Annualized Equivalent: Approximately $10, 400/year for 8 hours/week Employment Benefits: W2 employment with tax withholding Health benefits Workers' compensation Unemployment benefits Expense reimbursement We welcome applications from nanny candidates with experience in childcare and who meet our minimum qualifications.
