About the job

Lead Caregiver is responsible for all aspects of the care & education for the children enrolled in his/her program from 6wks to 2 years old. Develop their physical, mental and cognitive development. Ensure developmental assessments, following an age appropriate curricular plan is followed, and facilitation of supportive relationships with director, co-workers, parents, and students. The infant/toddler Lead caregiver is accountable for knowing state licensing requirements. Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use both in learning activities and in imaginative play. Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers or potty training. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: Talk, walk, uses hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talks or hears Often required to stand and sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat or crawl Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and in case of emergency a 40-pound child
