We have a 2-year-old going on 3, who is very much a go getter. He likes to play. Sometimes independently, sometimes with you. He is potty training right now, so you have to watch him. He doesn't always like to warn you or sit on the potty. Then there's the easier one. We have an almost 1-year-old who loves to play with her brother's toys and nap a lot. She too can be somewhat independent, but can be a little mischievous at times. She's not to be trusted on beds or couches without being held. Our dog is very friendly and cuddly. She is good with the kids. Even when the toddler gets a little rough, she's generally very patient. She's potty trained and will always let you know if she can't hold it in any longer. Generally, she just wants to sit on the couch all day and watch the day unfold. Our ideal caregiver: Very engaging and caring. They'll play with my children but also teach them a thing or two along the way. All while, of course making sure they get fed and nap when needed. They're patient with kids who aren't so sure about someone other than mom and dad. They're okay with a dog being around and interacting with them too. Additional needs include light housekeeping, meal prep, having a reliable car and being comfortable with pets. Looking for a caregiver for my infant daughter and 2-year-old son. Flexible start date.
