Full-time Nanny/Family Assistant, Caring and Energetic Web Job # 10739 Start date: January 2026 Location: Palo Alto, California Schedule: The ideal schedule is Monday through Thursday from 12:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Family can guarantee 40 hours per week and appreciates a Candidate who is able to work occasional evenings with advance notice Children: 3 and 6-year-olds Duties: The child-related duties include childcare, driving children, planning and attending activities and classes with children, helping with homework, purchasing children's items, managing children's calendar, scheduling appointments for children, cooking for children, children's laundry, and light housekeeping. The household duties, to be accomplished primarily when the children are in school, include family laundry, meal preparation and cooking for family, grocery shopping, scheduling vendors and service personnel, and vehicle maintenance and upkeep. Domestic travel with family a few weeks per year is nice to have but not required Requirements: The ideal Candidate is caring, supportive and energetic, with high emotional intelligence. Both parents have busy work schedules, so the Candidate will need to be a proactive self-starter who can operate independently. Family would value a Candidate who is college educated and bilingual, who speaks fluent English and either Mandarin or Spanish, but not required. Candidate must be comfortable with a parent working from home, must be tech savvy, and must drive. Family can provide a vehicle for use on the job. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain up-to-date vaccinations including MMR, Tdap, and flu vaccinations Salary: $40-$45 per hour Benefits: This position offers paid vacation time, paid sick time, paid holidays, and guaranteed year-round pay.
