I'm a 31yr old mother to 3 beautiful ! My oldest son is 12 my daughter is 10, and my youngest son is 5. As a mother I completely understand how scary and stressful it is when it comes to finding someone to care for your loved one! I treat and care for my patients as if they were part of my family!! When working with the elderly or children you have to be very patient, loving, compassionate and understanding. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses love and honesty are the best qualities that describe me! I have been a private duty nurse for 11 years, as well as babysitting/ Nanny work! I've worked with patients that have had Dementia, Alzheimer's, Diabetes, and Depression. Recently retired in 2016, I cannot think of a better way to do so while remaining active doing something I love. I am a mother of 4 (adults now) and a grandmother of 6 (ages 7-21). I was on MERT (Medical Emergency Resonse Team) at Cisco Systems while employed there. My credentials expired in 2012, however I'm willing to renew them if you prefer. I'm still skilled in my medical training.

My childcare style doesn't have a specific name, I just believe that love is very important, discipline too. I feel that there should be as much love as you can give but to have some structured discipline. There has to be a balance. I want to make sure the children I take care of are always safe, happy, secure, and disciplined. I give warnings, appropriate to incident and age and then enforce a time-out for the amount equal to age. I also believe that in order for children to prosper they need a lot of love, attention, and affection. Manners are important. I strive to bring up children with a strong self-esteem, substantial character, a healthy self-respect, as well as respect for others, and hopefully a good sense of humor. I have personal experience with my own child. He is 18 months. I also have plenty of experience from daycare and nanny jobs I have taken. I'd have to say what I find most challenging about a newborn/infant is never being sure of what EXACTLY your child wants, as a parent you want to be there for your child in every way, but you're limited. And what I find most rewarding is the joy given and the life lessons children teach you. I absolutely love taking care of babies. They teach you so much and give you so much to live for.
