I had my girl at 41 and 10 weeks premature. Our situation is unusual, I will actually be home while the caregiver is here as I am disabled. My parents help 12 hours a week but they're- vintage, its much for them. I've had multiple major surgeries on my spine & now suffer from chronic pain & lost full use of my hands. I will need more surgeries , one likely in the next 6-12 months, so it would be nice to have someone in place for the long term before then. I also have chronic Lyme disease & with that comes much illness. My crazy awesome terrible 2-year-old suffers from lack of all the extra stuff she could be doing. It'd be great to have someone to take us to the museum zoo, mall, library etc, Putting my girl in my car & doing the driving, getting the stroller out etc, those are the helpful things that would allow us to go places!. Our ideal caregiver: Someone who has had experience with an attention seeking high energy 2-year-old and a single mom who has no idea what she is doing. Additional needs include being comfortable with pets. Looking for a caregiver for my 2-year-old daughter. Flexible start date. My schedule may vary.
