Our family is looking for a housekeeper/house manager who can also keep an eye on the kids on Saturdays when our busy family is running in many different directions. She should be flexible, friendly, calm, efficient and good at laundry. The main area we need focus on on the weekend is the kitchen and laundry room and most time would be spent folding and putting away laundry. We have four kids (14, 13, 10, 9) who play various sports and we need to be driving them to games all day Saturday. Sometimes there is a child home and sometimes not depending on the schedule but we'd expect you to keep an eye on them and help them get out the door if they are being picked up by a carpool etc. We have a friendly and sweet Labrador and two friendly indoor cats who stay upstairs for the most part. Looking for someone who can serve as house-manager/house-keeper for our young family in Hingham. We already have a house cleaner (every 2 weeks) so this person is NOT responsible for the entire house, and no deep cleaning. Instead, this person would be helping our busy family (2 working parents, 2 young kids who are in school all day) stay organized throughout the week. With that in mind, the role would involve tidying up the kitchen and living areas; helping with dishes and unloading the dishwasher; folding laundry and changing bed linens; as well as grocery pickup. Of course the role could evolve depending upon the person and their experience as a house manager. We are flexible on hours, but envision someone coming multiple times per week. Were looking for someone who can walk our dog (3-year-old golden retriever) for an hour or so each day, help tidy the house, do laundry, help with groceries, healthy meal prep, occasional errands, etc. Were looking for someone who can help Monday - Friday, and who has flexibility to occasionally dog sit (at our home or theirs) when we travel during the week or on weekends. Were looking for someone who is trustworthy, detail oriented, dependable, has a positive attitude, and who is fully vaccinated. We're a couple in our early 30s and we both run our own companies so we are very busy with our work and travel often. We don't have any kids but we have a playful golden retriever.
