During my time at The Cedars in Arlington/DC area, I have learned many valuable life skills such as learning how to live in community, being accountable to others, serving leaders and Congressional members from across the globe, members of Parliament, Ambassadors from various nations, & many more from all over the world. This experience has changed my life drastically for the better & I am looking forward to utilizing these skills and more at my future place of employment. I have been put in different levels of work at The Cedars such as leading the team of girls who come from different areas all over the world to work at the house & live in community in basic domestic jobs such as cleaning, laundry, ironing sheets, scrubbing floors, cooking meals, interior decorating in the house, planting flowers in the yard, & serving the breakfasts that we have weekly on Tuesday & Thursday mornings. On Tuesday mornings, I serve an ambassadors breakfast where different ambassadors come from all over the world to meet and have breakfast together & talk about current world issues.
