Full-Time Child Caregiver Available

(1)
My name is Sarah and I am 22 years old. I am a very spunky, fun, loving, and energetic girl who is a large fan of outdoors and art. I have grown up on arts and crafts with my extremely artistic family, and I adore/have always adored working with children. I grew up babysitting starting at age 16 and now care for my 10-year-old nephew often. During my senior year in high school, I got the opportunity to go and participate in being a teachers assistant for kindergarten through second grade. I currently work at a fantastic day care and work with all ages up to 10 years old, but mainly I work full time with 1 1/2 - 2-year-old children. My main duties throughout the day consist of teaching the kids letters of the alphabets, colors, shapes, numbers, different animals/animal sounds, and to make sure the kids are busy and active, while also enjoying their day away from their parents. There is a different theme every week that I base my lesson plans on, and by these lesson plans, we go over mathematics, art, motor skills, science, and language arts. Drop off and pick-ups are also a big part of my job seeing as that is when the communication with the parents come to play. Drop offs are sometimes difficult with the separating, so I am there to give the children TLC and help calm them down. I also have that time to tell the parents about what their children accomplished through the day and what we are working on in the room. I have my own transportation and am very pet friendly. I also very much enjoy all outdoor activities and feel as if children should at least be outside an hour or more a day. Children take lots of patience and understanding, which I handle very well. Patients and understanding are key skills to have. Children are just like everyone else and learn more and more everyday and look up to their teachers for that help. A teacher who can understand that will be a huge influence on the children they care for as well as the parents.

Child Care Provider in Milford, Ohio

(1)
I am a mother of a 4-year-old little girl, a 3-year-old little boy, a 2-year-old little boy, and our baby girl born October 2013. Our home is very active, loving, and fun. Some activities we do on a regular basis are painting, coloring, swimming, reading, movies, learning activities, holiday celebrations, dress up, dance parties, baking, and as much outside play as possible. I am available to care for children during regular business hours (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.). I am very flexible with these hours, if needed. My previous occupation was in the medical field as a medical assistant. I am very experienced, being that I have my own children, and I have been providing childcare since January 2010. I believe young children learn best through free play with guidance and care. I believe in routines and structure but am not opposed to spontaneity. I do my best to work with children and parents to see that each child has a fun and safe environment to play learn and grow. I have helped raise 2 little girls for the past 2 years and they are now going off to school. I am sad but proud to see them leave knowing their families trusted me to care for them for so long. As a child care provider, I like to have the children become part of our family, not just a job. My rate is very reasonable. You only pay for the time I care for your child ($3.25 an hour). Bus service for a school in the School District is provided to my home.
