About who needs care: Parkinsons. We would like a routine established for her. My father takes care of her now and it has become overwhelming About the care needs: Prefers Spanish speaking even though she understands English Services needed include: companionship, medication prompting, mobility assistance, and help staying physically active. Preference for a caregiver who is female.

Our primary need is transporting my mother to and from doctor appointments (about 2-4 times per month). Transportation includes driving her to and from appointments with a Volvo stationwagon (provided by us), and using a wheelchair to bring her to and from car and appointment offices. Additional hours available (18/week total) to assist with in-home needs such as help with personal hygiene (clipping toe nails, using electric shaver on legs; no showering or toileting is needed); light housekeeping; meal preparation; and companionship. My mother is in her early 50's and is very kind. She can walk short distances without assistance inside the home but needs a wheelchair for longer distances. She showers, uses the toilet, and administers medications on her own.

We need hands-on care for 7 days a week to take care of my grandmother in Roslindale. Companionship: Have nice talks together. Get to know each other. Medication Management: Help with pill management, and insulin take in. My grandmother has Arthritis, and needs help moving around sometimes. She moves around in a wheelchair. All we need, is someone to come to the home a few times a day. Positions is also available if you want to stay over the house, and help her more on a daily. My grandmother is about 4ft 10 inches, and 100lbs. She needs help but her daughters also visit her on a daily, so there is family involvement and we hope someone out there can help us assist with her.

My mother is a cancer patient who needs a thoughtful caregiver to help her around the house for 3 days a week for 2-4 hour shifts. My mom is awesome. We also have two larger friendly dogs that that will need to go on a walk for about 1 hour of playtime in a park near our home. Services needed include: dog walking, taking my mom for walks in the park/pushing a wheel chair (she is 5'8 and 210 pounds, so we need someone who can be strong), house chores/cleaning the house, transportation to appointments, meal preparation, errands / shopping, housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
