Seeking care for my father in his 90s. Services needed: simple meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, possible help dressing. Looking for someone with 2+ years of experience caring for seniors. He is pleasant and easy-going. He loves sports and to talk about the old days. We are looking for someone who is patient, compassionate and dependable. My dad played golf and drove his car up until a year ago, at the age of 95. He is a WW 2 vet and can tell you some stories. In this last year, his body and memory have declined a bit. He enjoyed getting out and going to restaurants before the pandemic. He uses a walker to get around now. He is returning home after a kidney infection and a stay at the hospital and a couple weeks in rehab. My brother lives with him, but is still working 5 days a week during the day. Thanks!

We need hands-on care to help my mother care for my father (a retired physician) with Parkinson's in Mason. Some light tidying up is involved. He is wheelchair bound and needs assistance to transfer from his wheelchair. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Duties include providing companionship for my father if my mom needs to run errands. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Strength to help my dad walk with a gait belt and experience with Parkinson's is a plus.
