Hours are Mon-Fri 12pm-8 p.m. or 1pm-9pm, start and end times are flexible. Some hands-on care needed for bed-bound woman with ALS, but also significant amounts of downtime. Perfect for someone who needs to study or work on something else in between caregiving and light housekeeping.

PCA needed for woman with ALS M-F 4-10pm

PCA needed in Grafton, MA for 10-12 hours/week Paid through agency ($16. 94/hr) Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays 4:30p-7:30p Saturdays 9a-1p or possibly 9a-3p. Consumer is myself, I am 35/f with ALS. Nonambulatory, limited use of hands, slurred speech- may be hard to understand my speech Requirements: strong and comfortable with stand/pivot transfers, some brief lifting (I weigh 120 lbs). Patience and sense of humor :)
