I recently just finished the Teaching credential program at University of Laverne and student taught high school history at Chaffey High School in Ontario for 15 months under the head of the history department. I will be looking for a full time teaching position in history, but have taken some time off to help care for an elderly family member. I am also finding that my passion for history is difficult to translate into a full time position as it is a highly competitive position and there are not many available. I would like to keep up my teaching skills in the meantime.

I have taken only AP history courses throughout high school and am very passionate about the subject. I plan to study history in college and thought tutoring would be a great way to stay on top of my studies while helping others as well.

This year I took a position as a History Tutor at the General Athletic Tutoring Center at the University of the Pacific after being recommended by a professor. I assisted a student in a U. S. history class, but can also help in work history and other elective classes.

After school in high school I regularly tutored individuals struggling in history. As an aspiring history teacher, tutor is always something I enjoyed and learned from as well.

During my undergraduate career at College of the Holy Cross, I managed and oversaw volunteers for an after school tutoring program in Worcester, Massachusetts. At this site, I also tutored elementary and middle school aged children in the subjects of Mathematics and Language Arts Weekly. Following my time at College of the Holy Cross, I obtained a Masters Degree in Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education. During my time at Harvard, I gained experience tutoring in reading comprehension and tutoring English Language Learners. Additionally, I student taught at the Eugene Wright Science and Technology Academy in Chelsea, Massachusetts in a 6th grade Geography Classroom. I also worked as an after school ELL instructor weekly. Currently, I work at Archbishop Williams High School as a history teacher. I teach eighth grade World History 1, ninth grade World History 2, as well as both level 1 and honors United States History. Moreover, I am developing my own curriculum for a course

Hello! I am a post-college grad who is working full time but would like to start tutoring as well, nights and weekends! I started tutoring when I was still in college and would tutor my teammates for their history exams. Since graduating I have been helping my two younger sisters with History and English. I specialize in European History with focused areas in the French Revolution, Tudor England and the War of the Roses and World Wars 1 and 2. I am fluent in all U. S. History as well.

English And History!

Empowering children and strengthening their knowledge base is undeniably important for educational growth and development. Personally, I have excelled in my studies of English and social work, and have a passion for in-depth research around topics of studies. My social network of extended family, friends and family friends have requested me to review their research papers, medical assignments and e-mails sent to co-workers, because they trust my grammar and high vocabulary knowledge. I have tutored my younger brother, who has a learning disability, in the areas of English and history. He received passing grades in his courses, which exceeded his documented capabilities!
