We're looking for a casual/part-time nanny to help look after our 2 yr old son and become a long-term stable presence in his life and development. It's not a full-time gig but we could absolutely commit to 1-3 days per week. The usual hours would be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends or 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays with the occasional opportunity for a date nite shift. There is flexibility in the working hours and we would be happy to work with you to come up with a plan that fits for everyone. General child-minding duties (preparing snacks, play, bath, bedtime etc) and very light housekeeping.
We are pretty easygoing and don't have too many rules to impose on a caregiver. The most important thing is that we find someone who actually enjoys spending time with our son.
Our son LOVES being outside! He's happiest at a park, playground, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden (we're members), or just in the backyard!
My husband and I both work full-time and neither of us have family nearby. Although my son is in daycare Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30PM, we're still struggling to get keep up with everything and feel like we could do with another set of hands!
We're hoping to find someone who is responsible and has a genuine interest in children. Driver's license preferred.
We have parking and would be provide use of a family vehicle for transportation.
A chubby mini poodle named Bishop who gets too many treats. He barks a lot but he's very sweet. The good news is that son is a hard sleeper so you don't have to worry about him getting woken up from a nap bc of the pup!
