My father has Advanced Alzheimer's and is fully dependent in assistance. He moved in with my family 2 years ago out of an adult home & has extremely improved since removal of several strong medications given to him at the adult home. We are a very busy family of 5 with an 8-year-old son and two daughters ages 6 and 2 and one on the way. My father requires care 7 days a week. Weekdays are covered. We are in search of weekend caregiver with option to work some weekdays if needed as backup. COVID vaccination not required. Services needed include: transportation to appointments, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance. Weekend pay is $30/hr. Weekday pay is $25/hr.

I need senior care provider with experience. Our care concerns are: Mobility Assistance, Help Staying Physically Active, Heavy Lifting. My father has had extensive back and spinal cord surgery and now suffers from motor and sensory damage throughout limbs. He is essentially w/c bound and is requiring moderate to maximum assistance to stand/pivot from recliner to/from w/c throughout the day. My mother is a retired RN that can care for him throughout the day; however, his mobility is too difficult for her to manage alone at this time. Total transfer assist required would be 5-6x day only. Hoyer lift is not an option due to environmental constraints.

Spouse is struggling with transfers out of lift recliner to/from wheelchair 2-3 x day and from wheelchair to/from commode chair at least once in evening. Patient has very limited standing ability/tolerance with history of spinal cord injury. He has suprapubic catheter and is on a nightly bowel program. Sleeps in recliner chair due to immobility. Has w/c, RW, bedside commode, lift recliner, outside elevator lift and wc mobility van. Due to spatial and environmental limitations- in home Hoyer lift is unfortunately not an option.
