Displaying art in the home has clear aesthetic benefits, but countless studies have shown that creating art can reduce stress, build empathy, and provide a much needed creative outlet. With our busy lives, who doesn’t want that?

Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity.

Drawing and Painting
Small class sizes means students receive personalized instruction around various drawing techniques, including the study of values, color theory, line and air perspective, light and shadows. By mastering these foundations, students will progress toward drawing and painting vibrant three dimensional still lifes, portraits, and landscapes using acrylics, oils, and watercolors. Using plaster molds, sculptures, and live models as reference materials, students will have a chance to study traditional and conceptual art techniques. Eventually, students are able to create art from their imagination or recreate them from famous masterpieces that they’re proud to hang up at home.
