Primarily trained as a guitar player, he is also competent playing bass guitar, keyboards, mandolin, ukelele and singing. Though trained classically, he primarily plays in various rock pop and folk groups and performs regularly in a band setting as well as being a solo acoustic performer. He has recorded and performed with such groups as The Red Lights, Sunflower and the Seeds, The Hydrants, The Relative Funktion, Ming Dynasty and as a solo project. He has recorded several albums, written and cowritten dozens of songs and has toured the east coast of America. He has taught music lessons to a varied and diverse population of students ranging in age from 5 to adult and in skill levels ranging from beginners to advanced musicians looking to expand their palate. * Formal Education: Graduated from Molloy College with a Bachelor's degree in music performance (guitar), 2010 Graduated from Nassau Community College with an Associate's degree in music performance (guitar), 2007 Graduated from Wantagh High School 2005 Private Education: I studied with: Joe Randazzo 2001-2004 with a focus on pop rock and blues technique and general music theory Dr. Stephen Leonard 2005-2007 with a focus on classical guitar technique Professor Daniel McGann 2008-2010 with a focus on classical guitar technique Performing Experience: Ihave performed regularly since 2005 in various rock/pop groups primarily as lead guitarist and lead vocalist, opening for such esteemed acts as The Wailers, Fishbone and Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey. Have played such notable venues as The Bitter End, Sullivan Hall (formerly The Lion's Den), The Bowery Poetry Club, Arlene's Grocery, The Tank Theatre and The Players Theatre (all in New York City), Mulcahy's, The Crazy Donkey (on Long Island) among many other places. Have toured the east coast of America in various bands and as a solo acoustic act. Have been hired to perform at various private events and functions. I have been hired to perform and record with other's bands. Have recorded several albums with various groups as well as a solo act, gaining airplay on college radio and airtime on Canada's "Much Music" television station. Ihave written and cowritten many original songs. Experience Teaching: I began teaching freelance guitar lessons while still in high school, initially giving lessons to fellow students and there younger siblings. Eventually I expanded clientele predominantly through recomendations and word of mouth, and have worked with a diverse population of students ranging in age from 5 to adult, primarily working with students ages 12-16. Lessons are usually given in an hour format with a curriculum usually based in current pop and all types of rock music according to student's taste. I have also taught classical technique, music theory and songwriting/ composition when interest is shown by student to approach such subjects. I currently am a substitute guitar and keyboard teacher at The New World Music Center in Baldwin NY, working with a diverse population ages 5 to adult in many various styles of music. Have worked with students with autism and other learning disabilities.
