My name is Cristian and I'm from the Dominican Republic. My first language is Spanish but I have been living and the USA and still I'm able to communicate and teach English well! Music is one of my passions, and I've been learning music since I was a little kid. I can teach what I know in a friendly and fun way. It doesn't matter your age because anyone can learn music! It's never late to do so, and I would love to help students begin that journey! :) Formal Education: I attended Tecladissimo, a music school in the Dominican Republic. Pianissimo in High school and private classes also. Private Education: In addition to Tecladissimo Pianissimo and other music academies, I took online courses. I also worked with Caonex Peguero who was my violin teacher but also taught me a lot of music theory. Performing Experience: I have been performing at church since I was 12. My family has a Music Academy in the Dominican Republic where we teach Piano, Music theory, guitar, drums, bass, singing, etc. We did many performances with our students where we gave them the opportunity to show what they have learned. It was very fun and everybody was happy to see how they learned a lot of stuff. Experience Teaching: Online teaching with skype, it was an experiment we did and we did with a few of our students so it was pretty nice and it worked fine while we did it.
