Growing up in the vibrant Washington D.C. metropolitan area, he drew inspiration from his father, an accomplished bassist, as well as legendary musicians like Herbie Hancock, Jeff Lorber, and Miles Davis, whose grooves resonated deeply within him. Driven by his innate musical ear, Dante embarked on a remarkable journey of self-teaching, mastering a diverse array of instruments including the saxophone, piano, bass, flute, drums, and percussion. Through his relentless pursuit of musical excellence, Dante's talents were further nurtured during his tenure with Colours Performing Arts Group, an esteemed scholastic program that places a strong emphasis on arts education. Over a span of ten years, he honed his skills and had the privilege of performing in front of audiences numbering in the hundreds of thousands across the nation. The culmination of Dante's relentless dedication came when he earned a coveted scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Immersed in an environment brimming with talent and guided by revered music luminaries such as Stanley Turrentine, Chris Vadala, Fred Lipsius, Najee, Dino Govoni, and the incomparable Walter Beasley, Dante's childhood dream of pursuing music as a vocation became his everyday reality. Notably, Dante has been a valued member of the B.B. King Allstar Band, touring the seas on Holland America Line since 2016.
