What your child’s day will look like
Little Stars: Broadway Dance combines the magic of Broadway with a creative movement class that focuses heavily on creativity and helping young dancers discover new ways to move their bodies. Developed by a child development specialist and a national dance champion, Little Stars: Broadway Dance features music and activities inspired by a different Broadway Musical each week. Classes are designed to support fine and gross motor skills, imagination, rhythm, and body awareness while introducing dancers to elements of formal dance classes such as a warm-up routine, “across the floor," and learning choreography in a fun, developmentally appropriate way. At the end of each session, Little Stars will get to show off their new Broadway moves in an Open House for parents on the last day of class. Here at Stages, we believe that dance is for everyone! Our team is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all children can feel comfortable.

WHAT TO WEAR: - Please send your child in clothing that allows full range of motion. - We will be asking everyone to remove outside shoes for class so please bring socks for your child if they are not already wearing them. *We will be in a carpeted room for class so dance shoes are not required but if you would rather your child wear ballet or jazz shoes for class, they are welcome to do so. - If your child wears a dress to class, they MUST wear shorts or leggings underneath.
