Rocky River Evening Child Care Jobs

We are looking for a great babysitter for our daughter in Rocky River. We would prefer a sitter who has their own car, who does not smoke and who is CPR certified. We will have a regular obligation on Sundays for 3-4 hours starting May 7, and ongoing for 7 weeks (excluding 6/11/23). It will probably be in the evening, however I do not know the exact time yet. We would also love to build a good relationship with a reliable sitter that we could call on for other times that may come up. We do have 2 dogs at the home, but they will be put up during times we are gone.

We are looking for a nanny to care for 1 newborn at our home in Rocky River, due date mid-April. We require a nanny who has their own car with clean driving record, non-smoker, is vaccinated for tDap, flu and COVID-19 and w/ at least 3 years experience. Prefer someone who is comfortable with pets, CPR certified and willing to help out with light housekeeping. This position will start off as part time in May, with 1-2 weekday day shifts and an occasional weekend evening through July. After July, this position may transition to 2-4 weekdays when we are both back at work. We will work with you to create a set schedule to make shifts more predictable.

Full-time working parents in Rocky River are seeking a nurturing caregiver to temporarily assist with dinner and bedtime for two sweet, kind-natured boys (3 years old and 9 months old). Dates of the position are mid-February through the end of March, working from 5-8:30 p.m. 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday. The caregiver would be working in the home with one of the parents at all times to partner on childcare, preparing dinner, doing laundry and dishes as well as packing the kids for daycare the following day. Proof of both COVID and flu vaccination is required in addition to current references. Our family does have a shorthair cat, so please consider that when applying.

Most of the time our needs will be in the evening. Typically putting our girl to bed and being available if she wakes up. Sometimes she may already be put to sleep, and just need someone to be available if she wakes up. Otherwise, she's an active baby. Enjoys playing with her toys.

Looking for a sitter for the evening, had a last minute sitter cancellation. We have a 4-year-old daughter, she is very outgoing and loves to play. We also have a golden retriever but he is well trained and she knows how to handle him.

We have had some wonderful experiences with sitters/nannies in the past with one woman even becoming like family to us. Someone who speaks a second language like Spanish or Portuguese would be a bonus but surely not required. Since our own family is not nearby, our childcare is even more important and appreciated by us! Our energetic boys, M and C are sweet and smart. They love to play cars, read, color and pretend at this age and will be attending preschool 4 days per week.
