Our caregiver will mostly help with our 4-year-old. I will be on maternity leave and will take primary care of our newborn. My husband also works primarily from home and can assist if necessary. We've always had an au pair, so our daughter, R, is very familiar with au pairs, and we expect she will be very comfortable with a nanny. She is fun loving and pretty easy going. She loves reading, singing, and using her imagination. She's not overly energetic and is usually well behaved and extremely loving. She can be shy around new people and timid with new experiences, but she warms up quickly. Since we will have a newborn baby soon, it is very important that our caregiver is extremely careful with health and takes social distancing seriously even when they are "off the clock.".. Additional needs include light housekeeping, having a reliable car, being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker. We could use help with structuring activities.
