Hello! My name is Katariina and I am 18 years old, 19 in September. I'm from Finland and I graduated from high school in June. I have a gap year before going to university and being an au pair has always been a dream of mine. I love taking care of children and I enjoy being around them. Living abroad has also been one of the biggest dreams of mine since I was a child so working as an au pair would be the perfect job for me. I come from a happy family including me, my big brother, our parents and our lovely dog. Music and sports have always been a huge part of my life. I started playing piano when I was 9 years old and I still love playing it. I have also played football, danced and ridden many years. Today I enjoy going to the gym and playing piano. I consider myself as a warm and kind person who is easygoing but at the same time has a good sense. I value good sense of humour and good manners. My family and friends mean everything to me and I would appreciate if the host family would consider me as a family member and not just an employee. I still understand that being an au pair is a job and take it seriously while being the big sister to the children.
