| Hello! My name is Meg, I’m almost 19 years old and I’m an education BA university student based in NG11 looking for income. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile :) Availability due to university: Monday - 4pm onwards Tuesday- anytime Wednesday- 4pm onwards Thursday- anytime Most weekends- anytime How I would commute: - bus or taxi as I don’t have my drivers license yet I have experience with children from living with a childminder and have been DBS checked and have undergone a safeguarding course. I also have the ability to tutor English at GCSE level due achieving an 8 in both language and literature at GCSE level and a C in English language at A level.

| I studied A Level Music (grade B), and I am now studying a degree in the subject. My main instruments are violin and vocals. I also studied A Level Maths and achieved a grade A. While I was in sixth form, I tutored a GCSE pupil statistics/maths, and he was very happy with his final grade. Having enjoyed tutoring (although it was a few years ago now), I have decided to start doing this again now while at university, to enhance my CV, earn a bit of money on the side of my studies, and to help pupils achieve the grades they want! I am particularly good at explaining things which may seem a little tricky, and I would be happy to tutor students who are struggling and need some help, or students who are advanced and would like an extra boost. I am a friendly, bubbly and enthusiastic person, which is always important when teaching a subject to somebody else, and will always try to make the sessions as engaging as possible.

| I come from a strong background in Mathematics and Chemistry with PhD in Chemistry. I have been teaching a wide spectrum of students for 10 years now. Currently, I am teaching Chemistry and Mathematics to BTEC Level 3 student and Chemistry and Biology to the A-level student. Teaching Experience Cardiff Tae-Kwon do: Assistant instructor (Jan 2020- Jul 2022) As a second degree black-belt in Tae-Kwon do, I undertook a teaching role to help others in my local club as well as to support my instructor at the time. In this role I learnt the fundamentals of teaching and expanded my ability to communicate well and use my knowledge to help others.

| I'm a Cambridge physics graduate who provides one-to-one tuition in A level maths. Tuition normally takes place at my home but can be done online. Typically, sessions are weekly and last one hour but additional sessions may be arranged if needed.

| I have lots of experience working with young children as well as coaching older children with their studies too! I consider myself a fun and practical tutor, who tries to ensure deeper understanding of subjects using alternative methods of teaching, for example through images and stories. I can also teach the 'Memory Method' which aims to improve long term memory and reduce revision time overall. At school, I was a Chemistry Ambassador and frequently helped out in the science department, helping students understand their work and building on their curiosity relating to the sciences. I was an 'Accelerated Reader' reading buddy in school, and one of my students improved their reading age by two years with just under two months of my tutoring!

| Hi there, my name is Andrea, I am a native spanish speaker from Venezuela. I have experience in gcse and a-level spanish, having sat the exams myself, I have also been tutoring university students on the speaking skills during my degree, therefore have experience in one-to-one tutoring.

| I worked for a year at a tutoring centre (Kumon), working specifically with young children. I also completed work experience in a primary school, so I have quite a bit of experience in tutoring. I am also comfortable tutoring GCSE or A level students, particularly as I am a university student, so I have acquired revision tips etc that would more so benefit older children.
