| I have over 10 years’ experience in the Autism/ Learning disability/ Brain injury Support industry, and I believe the knowledge and skills built up during this time make me the right candidate.

| I'm a psychology student currently but multiple years experience in support work (very happy to send CV & ref's). I'm incredibly passionate about supporting autistic young people particularly and boosting their confidence to manage mental health issues. I particularly saw a range of differing mental health issues whilst working at a CAHMS inpatient ward in Oxford; as a Young Person Healthcare Assistant allocated to particular case teams, I was that young person’s advocate and supported their care plan by having 1:1 sessions with them each week. I also have experience as a support worker at a SEN school for children with autism and severe learning disabilities. I also have multiple training qualifications from my healthcare assistant job, such as having completed a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy course and studied for months to complete a CBT-e training programme. I am also a very empathetic, reliable, caring individual who is keen to encourage young people's personalities and skills to flourish. Working in mental health is my chosen purpose.

| I have a postgraduate degree in neurodevelopment and a certification in autism spectrum disorder clinical management. During my medical residency I spent about 4 #####.#### in and outpatient clinics ############.## developmental disorders of all types, ranging from extreme prematurity to complex genetic disorders, with a focus on psychiatric wellbeing notably preventing the onset of anxiety, depression or frustration for these children. I also have a qualification in improvisational music therapy aimed at interpersonal communication both verbal and non verbal. I am a lively and energetic person with good emergency managememt skills (worked as a pediatric EMT), detail oriented, focused and cool-headed. Can provide reference letters from former patients' families as well as from my former boss at the hospital.

| I am a 24 year old from Inverness, living in Edinburgh for 5 years. I am currently working in a Primary School as a PSA, working one to one with children with learning difficulties and special needs. I was also a young career for my siblings, one who has autism, this led me to have the opportunity to work with disabilities programs and to land the job that I am in. This has given me the skills when situations arise to deal with them appropriately and has taught me to approach those in my charge with patience and sensitivity. I have a PVG for children and adults.

| My name is Emma and I am 22 years old. I am a qualified child care practitioner and I am studying to be a teacher this coming September. As of now I currently work in a special needs school in Glasgow ages 5-12, I word with a variety of children who all require different help (ie- mobility, speech, personal care) I absolutely love this job. I also work as a personal assistant with 2 young boys. One is ages 7 and has autism, he has no speech so I use PODD books, Picture Exchange Communication cards (peccs) and sign language. The other boy I work with is 13 and he has cerebral palsy and speech difficulties. With boys boys I do personal care, I take them on outings to the park or to any activities they may go to, I help with homework bedtime routines etc, anything the family want I am happy to do! I have a passion for helping children will addict al need as my younger sister herself has autism and she has really pushed me to want to help as many people I can!

| ● Currently employed as a support worker to many service users, with conditions including: autism; learning difficulties; visual impairment; blindness; and arthritis. ● 4 years previous employment through self directed support with 22 year old woman with autism, learning difficulties, and autism. ● Also have worked with children ages 3-18 for a summer playscheme who were all disabled.

| I have a degree in Psychology and I worked with children affected by autism and specific learning disabilities. I worked even in pre school and post school services (groups of 10/20 children) and as part time babysitter with children aged 2 to 13. I'm a trustworthy and quiet person.

| I have experience as a carer working with autism, schizophrenia, epilepsy. I am currently working as a Learning Assistant in a primary school. I have worked with students who have learning difficulty, ADHD as well as autism and behavioural issues. I am a kind hearted person who likes to keep things positive. I am studying my Masters in Counselling at the University

| I live with my husband and 18 months old child. Earlier I served as account for a school. Although being engaged in administration as a main line , I gained an experience to interact with nursery children. I was able to fully interact with them and able to handle whole working hours. I was able to make good engagement with autism children.

| I have worked in a number of City of Edinburgh Council special needs schools, care centres, mainstream and special needs nurseries and within private families. Within these organisations the children have had a wide range of disabilities including Autism, learning and physical disabilities and challenging behaviours. I have volunteered abroad and taught English in Thailand.
