Elderly Care in Newtownabbey

I am a care assistant (home from hospital). We look after clients who have been in the hospital and need some help with personal care meals, emotional support, and encouragement to rehabilitate or stay with them until other permanent services take over. I enjoy working with the elderly and have a good rapport with them.

| Hi, I am a experienced care assistant with 4/5 years experience in care industry and 2/3 years within childminding industry. I currently work through an agency independently which means I choose when and where I work weekly, this gives me opportunity to meet new people and learn new skills every shift. I started my care journey with children, I studied Level 3 childcare in school for 2 years and in nursey part time at same time, I then worked with new born to 36 months in a private nursery which was amazing then I changed paths to work with dementia patients which I done for over 2 years. I gained most of my experience in this job as working early and later stages of dementia and palliative care. I have also worked in community, brain injury, stroke, parkinsons and general units in hospitals. I have up-to-date moving and handling and extensive cpr training with 2 courses completed within last 3 months. I enjoy my job and will always provide the best care for each individual patient. I am trustworthy and hard working. I am a big family person I think that's why I love caring for others so much.
