I am a second-year Government and Economics student at LSE. I got a first (over 70%) in all first-year modules. I completed the IB diploma in high-school, and achieved a 42 out of a possible 45 points with Economics, History and Mathematics at Higher level.
In terms of past experience with children or tutoring, I tutored disabled orphans at an Orphanage, Delhi ever summer from 2012 to 2014 and assisted them in class preparation, supporting them with worksheets to help them reach their potential. This required me to build strong bonds with my tutees by engaging them and making the work as interactive as possible.
I also solely led a weekly Art class at a library from October 2012 to April 2014. My responsibilities involved advertising the class through posters and social media, regularly organising activities for attendees and, most importantly, making the environment welcoming and friendly. It was fulfilling to engage with people of different age-groups and cultural backgrounds.
