I am currently available as a full/part time live-out nanny or personal care assistant for those with and without additional needs, before starting my second year of university in September 2020 as a student midwife. I have worked in special needs (SEND) schools and after-school clubs in London for the last 4 years, and have lots of experience with special needs, particularly ASD. I have also been a personal care assistant and care worker for over a year, with infants, children, and adults of all ages who have additional needs and require support. I know a small (but growing) amount of BSL and Makaton. I have worked and cared for children of all ages, and all abilities. I have experience with hoists and GI/NG feeding tubes, and lots of experience with epilepsy and administering buccal epilepsy medication. I have been babysitting professionally for 4 years, and have been employed by organisations for childcare since 2015. From my first year of a Midwifery degree, I have lots of experience in newborn care too! I currently live in Headingley but am happy to travel across Leeds to you. References available upon request.
