I have worked the past 8 years in the special needs sector. Predominantly I have worked with secondary aged pupils with Autism but I also have experience working across age groups in a nursery, with primary aged pupils and with elderly individuals in a care setting. I am also trained to administer medication in a day care setting. I have had epilepsy and diabetes training and have some experience working with other conditions including hemaphilia, athsma, ADHD, downs syndrome, wheelchair users and deaf individuals using Makaton or Signed English. I am due to renew my first aid training this year and am happy to attend any formal or informal training required.
