I’ve been the sole carer for my own dog (in Newcastle) since I was 15 and since then have had multiple pet care jobs. At the age of 16 I began paid catsitting on a regular basis and since starting university (2017) I have undertaken multiple jobs for dog walking and dog boarding at my home. References are available on request.
I prefer to only walk one or a few dogs at a time to ensure they are getting a more personal experience in which I can learn about their likes and dislikes and cater to their needs, as opposed to simply just taking them on a walk.
I am a student at UoM therefore am more interested in helping the animals rather than seeing it as a great money maker. I find animal care mutually beneficial as it too provides me the animal companionship I lack from living away from home!
I have plenty of free time and a very flexible schedule, however do not own a car so would rely on public tranport to get to you-but I am willing to travel!
If you are interested I’d love to help out
