From 12 years old I spent every weekend volunteering at a local animal shelter providing care for a range of pets including small mammals, cats and horses. I gained experience socialising kittens and providing care for sometimes troublesome animals. At 16 I became an employee at Blossoms Kennels and Cattery where I worked with both dogs and cats extensively. I walked and bathed the dogs, fed the cats and also had to medicate some of the older guests. Additionally, I have 5 years experience riding horses and have basic knowledge of horse care (grooming, hay bags, feeding etc). More recently I spent time volunteering at the local K9 Crusaders where I provided enrichment for some wonderful but sometimes difficult dogs. As such I have experience with both boisterous and shy animals. Throughout my life I have been called upon to look after friend's pets and have always been trusted to provide the best love and care.
