Hi there! My name is Eilidh. I'm an 18 year old first year student, studying for a Midwifery degree in Edinburgh. I am available to work most week days from around 5pm onwards and all day on a saturday. After working as a social care assistant in an old folks home in the summer of 2016, I have gained the essential skills and confidence required to be a responsible and compassionate carer. Some of my roles in this job included: feeding, personal care (i.e. bathing, grooming etc), dressing and entertaining the residents of the home. I thoroughly enjoyed working in the care home and so I was sad to finish working there after leaving home to study in university. I would really appreciate getting the opportunity to care for the elderly here in Edinburgh as it is a job I genuinely love and know I would carry out in the best possible way I could!
