I am in Third Year studying Primary Education living in the East Lothian area and could offer tutoring support to children of primary level. While working as an Au Pair in Australia, I attended swimming lessons with a 3 year old boy and "Gymbaroo" lessons with a 18 month old boy. During my placements in schools, I have worked with children with Additional Support Needs and have developed ways of interacting with children in safe and understanding contexts and environments. I have recently finished a placement in a nursery setting and have taught children in both Primary 3 and Primary 4 in my two previous posts after completing two placements in nursery settings in first year. In the summer of 2015, after my first year, I spent 3 months in Thailand teaching English to children up to 15 years with the British Council and Education Department of Thailand. Aside from my experience in childcare, I have worked in retail in a supervisory position whilst on a management training scheme and in a position of trust within a Cash Office for a a well known retail chain handling thousands of pounds a day. I have also worked in Clinical Research providing admin support.
