I have been babysitting children between the ages of 2-12 years old over the last 4 years and started when I was in secondary school. I have always loved working with children and playing with them and understanding the world in the way that they see it. I enjoy helping children with homework and reading as well as baking with them and visiting museums and the cinema. Throughout sixth form while completing my a levels of Philosophy, Music and English Literature, I have been working part time as a babysitter and regularly picking up children from school (via bus), helping out with making lunch/ dinner, bathing the children, putting children to bed, cleaning and helping to organise the house and am always happy to help with anything around the house. I do not currently drive but of course can travel and pick up on public transport if required. I started my second year of my primary teaching degree last September and have worked in a lovely year 1 class and in a nursery and reception class! I would love to help with looking after the children and making them feel comfortable and cared for. I nannied for 10 weeks over summer so have relevant and recent experience. Hopefully I sound like the right babysitter for you!
