Leanne, 29. A very kind, trustworthy and patient individual.
| I absolutely love working with children & enjoy observing them through all types of developmental milestones. I attended a CACHE Level 3 course in childhood studies for 2 years whilst attending various school & nursery. After a fantastic first 2 years, I decided to carry on my studies by moving onto the foundation degree, working with children and families. While studying, I found myself a part time job at a before and after school club two days a week, plus during the summer holidays. When I graduated, 2 months later I got accepted a job at a nursery in Edgbaston. It widened my knowledge of the Early Years foundation stage and encouraged me to use my initiative to deliver activities from messy paint to outdoor fun. I then decided it was the time to search for a school Teaching Assistant role,I was accepted into Year 2 and was delighted to have the opportunity to follow a new national curriculum. I am currently in Year 4 and run an after school club every evening.

i try my best to mend to childrens needs. The safety of a child is my biggest priority
| Ive been working in different nurseries for 3 years now. I have my Level 3 childcare certificate. I enjoyed helping to oversee, maintain and organise a clean, tidy, child-friendly environment. I supervised activities, such as messy play, crafts, cooking, reading and outdoor/physical pursuits.  I was able to provide continuous supervision to children during indoor and outdoor activities and created and maintained safe learning and playing environments. I also organised and executed activities schedules, developed and reinforced daily routines, and taught children good hygiene habits such as washing hands. I became very familiar and gained experience with how to interact with the parents/carers everyday. During parents evening i spoke with my key children’s parents to discuss and review checklists regarding allergies, emergency contacts, food preferences, and other child-specific issues. During snack time i prepared healthy meals and snacks, and planned and set up playtime and educational games. I strongly believe its critical to work as a team both with parents and staff to help the children learn and grow to their best ability

Alice, 21. Gaining experience to be au pair.
| I don't have direct babysitting experience but I have worked in a children's holiday camp Barracudas for many holidays. This gave me experience looking after children all day and how to interact with them. I am flexible for most of the time. I'm keen to ensure they're having fun while learning at the same time. I am happy to take them to evening clubs such as sports as I think it's an important part of growing up is the skills you learn from participating in sports as a kid. I study sports science so I am passionate about kids being active. I am good at cooking as I do it everyday for myself and am happy to cook with the children to teach them too. I am looking at working as an au pair in Spain after I graduate as I'm learning Spanish, so I would love the opportunity to get some babysitting experience here. Lastly even though I am a student, I am in my final year and I'm pretty chill I'm just focussing on going to the gym, playing sport and finishing my studies.

Nanny/babysitter in Birmingham. 4 years experience, looking for the right fit :)
| I have two younger cousins who I cared for regularly at 16 around my college hours. Aged 4&5 now 8&9. My main responsibilities involved after-school pickup, extracurricular drop off and pick up, helping with homework, cooking dinner and fun! Confident with housekeeping and cooking (coming from a family of 6 this is a long practiced skill) and ensure to always clean after the children and lead by example. During my gap year, I babysat more regularly including full days including school holidays. Through volunteering at Foodcyle I’ve learned to make healthy child-friendly meals while uplifting them. During my first year of University I was an after school nanny for a 5 year old boy with a very similar routine through a different care agency with a standard after school routine (making dinner, games, and if mom was working late, bath and bed time). I occasionally do overnight babysitting for family friends if they work nights and need a trusted adult at home, through this I have become confident with night time routines. My hobbies include theatre, reading and video essays. Currently learning French and spend my spare time volunteering with FoodCycle and a local baby bank - causes close to my heart.

From Nanny to Teacher!
| Before I did my undergraduate degree, I was a Nanny, I worked for a single mother who worked nights and watched her young daughter from #### - ####. I left to go to uni but I am still close with them. My role varied as she grew. Originally, I got up in the night for feeds, got her up in the morning, eventually I did the school run too. I helped with homework, potty training, dummy weaning and even picking a school and nursery. I have experience in a High School as a TA as well as working with my friend’s charity which delivers a programme on financial literacy to students. I was a TA in a Primary School working with SEN children for a while as well as working in their nursery which I loved. I am very lucky that I have a wide range of experience working with children of a range of ages and abilities in a variety of settings. A bit about me! I love history, traveling, cross stitching and comic cons. I live with my partner and our three birds. My degree is Theology, Philosophy and Educational Studies. I am currently doing my PGCE. Here are my other certificates! - Enhanced DBS Check. - Paediatric First Aid trained. - Mental Health First Aid trained. - Suicide Prevention Certificate. Thank you for reading! x

Love working with children and well experienced.
| Hi, I'm the eldest of a large family, I've got two younger brothers and 12 younger cousins, all of which I've babysat on multiple occasions. I have a DBS check as I'm currently studying social work at university and I've volunteered at my local nursery multiple times in order to gain experience. I had a job in an after school club too which aimed to keep children from ages 4-11 entertained as they waited to be collected by their parents, this was for 2 hours twice a week for over a year but I had to leave when I moved away for university. This experience has supported me in being accepted onto a volunteering exhibition with disadvantaged children in Fiji. I'm available anytime Friday-Sunday up until 9pm Sunday night. Monday-Thursday can vary depending on what time my lectures are but I'll definitely be available most afternoons and evenings. I'm willing to discuss my weekly timetable further with those interested. My hobbies are watching films, baking and going for walks. I love working with children and feel that I've gained enough experience to be creative in keeping them entertained. A babysitting job would be perfect alongside my university studies to become a social worker.

I have personal & professional experience in childcare, including a diploma in social care. Aged 22
| Currently working as an after school nanny for two girls aged 9&10. I also have experience in babysitting children aged 2-15. This consists of a few hours during an evening/morning to a full weekend of care. This has included making dinner for the children, taking them out e.g, to the park and putting them to bed. During my education I acquired some experience from my practice placements including visiting children in their home and supporting them with particular tasks, for example; homework. I have also gained experience from volunteering at a youth centre working closely with people aged, 7-15, who have asperges and autism. This experience taught me how to overcome challenging situations with young people and the skills I developed from this have helped when babysitting because I can help a child overcome the initial anxious feeling of their parents leaving them for the day/night. From my babysitting experience I have looked after up to 4 children at one time, however from my practice placements I have work with families who have up to 6 children and from my voluntary work at the youth centre we had 25+ young people attend with 4 members of staff so I would be willing to babysit multiple children at a time.

I have been babysitting / nannying alongside other jobs for two years and now I want to look after children full time. I regularly help with my niece who is currently 8 months old, and also have experience with younger babies and toddlers. I get on well with all ages and have looked after primary and secondary aged children. When looking after your children, I will do things your way and get involved in your child's world. I am a friendly, approachable and helpful person and I love playing games and going on adventures with children. I have my own car and am happy to take your children out in the local area. I enjoy building close, trusting relationships with children and their parents and will keep you updated on what we've been doing and how the kids have been. I hold a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate and Food Allergy training and I love cooking, I will provide snacks and meals for your children if needed. I also have paediatric First Aid training and a recent enhanced DBS.
