After School Care Westbury

| My name is Tasha and I am 34yrs old. I am a qualified (cache level 3 diploma in child care and education) child care worker with 15yrs of experience. I have worked long periods of time in 3 different nurseries as room leaders and nursery SENCO. The past 3yrs I have been working as a private nanny in Bath, taking care of 2 children, school age and pre school age. I take and collect the eldest from school, and then take the youngest to toddler groups and activities each morning and in the afternoon park and library trips. I provide the children with healthy snacks and meals. I love the family, however as of 9th January 2020 they will no longer need me due to the youngest starting school. This means I will be looking for a new family to join. I am looking to be employed full time. I don't drive, however I travel around by public transport easily. I find myself to be a caring and friendly person with lots of energy and lots of passion, who is very organised. I feel it is important to have a flexible structure to the day. | I am a 24 year old Health and Well-being Practitioner and I really enjoy helping families out in the evenings and occasional weekend with babysitting and I’m very happy working with kids of all ages and needs. I have had a lot of experience working at an after school club in Warminster, helping the children out with crafts and organising fun games outside in the summer. I have previously been a babysitter for more than 10 different families now, both in the evenings and throughout the day, and can provide an enhanced DBS certificate.

| I bring a bubbly attitude to caring to children and care to the best of my ability. I aim to help any parents who need a little bit of extra help or time to themselves or work whilst I employ great communication skills and a friendly approach and appearance allowing children to feel safe and have fun in my care. After working for 3 years at an after school club for children with special needs I am able to adapt to my situation and think on my feet as well as caring for children who maybe need additional support.

| I have just finished my second year at Norland Nanny College. I have had many years of childcare experience ranging from newborn to teenagers. I started helping my Mum look after my 3 younger sisters at the age of 12 as she became a single parent. My sisters were then 9 months, 3 and 10 years old. I have continued to help her and have gained many skills (including a great deal of patience!) along the way. This then lead me to Nanny after School and at weekends for local families. I also did various work experience placements at a local Nursery and at a Primary School with Years 1 and 4. Receiving a place at Norland college is my biggest achievement so far. I gained many skills including cooking nutritional and balanced healthy meals for children of all ages including those with dietary needs, bottle feeding, weaning and the introduction of finger foods. I have learnt fun and safe ways for bathing, changing nappies, health and safety and first aid. My two years at Norland also gave me life time friends and experiences and I will forever be grateful for that. I have a full clean driving license and am DBS checked.

I currently work in a nursery with children 0-5 years old. We also have a breakfast club and an after-school club for children 4-11. I have an NVQ Level 3 and I love working with children. I am bubbly, outgoing, and I love getting messy painting, working with glitter, etc. One of my favourite activities with children is cooking, as they get to try new foods in a fun way.

| I have worked in child care since the age of 16 earning my NNEB in childcare. I have been an au pair In America, Worked on cruise ships in the children’s club, I have experience working in different nurseries and now I run an after school club. I’m a proud mum to two beautiful children aged 20 and 15, my eldest is at university in Belfast and my youngest currently study for his GCSE.

| I am currently looking for a part-time nanny role to fit alongside my personal training buiseness. At the moment, I am working for 2 local families who I have been with for 6 years: after school care for a brother and sister of 6 & 4 years old and evening/overnight for another family with an 8 & 6 year old.
