Rhianna, 20, Primary Education at Nottingham Trent University.
I'm Rhianna I'm 19 years old and I am currently studying Primary Education at University. I am looking for babysitting work for mainly evenings/weekends. I am currently at home for Christmas in NG21 area, but during term time I live on Campus in Clifton.
I would consider myself to be a very trustworthy candidate to be considered to look after children, care for them and ensure they are content and carefree in a safe and happy environment. I would describe myself as fun and confident, I love the outdoors, art and travelling. Last year I took a gap year and went travelling in South East Asia, this experience helped me to gain independence as well as an insight into different cultures and religions, which has shaped me into a more open-minded individual. I would consider myself to be very spontaneous and adventurous.
During the past 3 years I have gained a wealth of experience working with children from the age of 3-11, mainly in educational settings. Prior to starting university I attended Sixth Form, as part of my Health and Social Care A Level I completed a placement working in an early years setting, ensuring the educational, physical, social and emotional needs of all children were met whilst in our care.
As part of my degree it is mandatory that I undertake placements in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. At present I am working in a Primary School in Nottingham, where I am expected to teach one-to-one, group sessions and whole class lessons. I would consider myself to have a deep understanding of the National Curriculum and ways in which I can engage and educate children of all learning styles.
I have also carried out voluntary work at an after school cooking club. Here I worked with ten year 6 students, supporting them in carrying out practical activities and ensuring that all the children were safe using equipment and understood instructions given to them. I also taught them how to live a healthily, thus empowering them to make the right lifestyle choices.

I would consider myself to be very spontaneous and adventurous; and I believe that both children and adults learn best through engaging first hand with the world around us.
During my time at school studying I also had a Saturday job at a children's theme park. Throughout my time working here I was appointed many responsibilities, including handling money, customer service, leading a team and supervising children’s play. I consider myself to be a hard worker; I strived to give customers the best experience, whilst being efficient within my job. I enjoy working with people, especially children as they bring me a lot of happiness and reward.
I also hold a valid DBS check, which can be provided upon request.
